This list is forever growing—either in multiple carts or screenshots.
I’m sure you have a few lists too. Mine range from full-house renovations to decor I want to add. Today, though, I’m focusing solely on my closet.
First on the list is this Fal-ash dress. I’ve had my eyes on this brand for a while, but I’ve been hesitant about getting anything from there because they generally stop at an XL. But once they announced they weren’t going to make the signature dress anymore, I knew I had to have it.
Can I get into the dress? I don’t know, but we’ll find out very soon. If it doesn’t fit how it’s supposed to, that has never stopped me from putting that sh!t on before. And I can tell you right now, it won’t stop me this time either. It’ll be styled as a top—or whatever I can make work.
Next is anything cobalt blue. Are you seeing a pattern here?
This color has clearly been on multiple runways this month and will soon be making its way into your closets this fall and, for sure, during the spring. I took a screenshot of one sweater that was styled with some pants from ASOS.
My guess is that they took it off the website because I can’t find it anywhere. So, I’m making it my mission to find something similar and add more accessories in that color as well.
I actually have a vest that I recently got from Wally World that I love! It’s extremely soft and was ultimately a steal. Trust me, you’ll see me in it sooner rather than later.
Speaking of ASOS, they have some amazing basics that will work well both in and out of the office. I plan to take a trip over there and add a few pieces to my cart, which, of course, is forever growing.
I don’t have any coats in my cart yet but at this rate they should be in there too. My last two came from Pretty Little Thing a few years ago. They are still holding me down but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want at least one.
I recently found out about Rendoll and OMG! I have fallen into a beautiful rabbit hole. I don’t know where I’m going, but when I get my hands on their Yara and Nia maxi dresses, I will make sure that I am seen from every angle.
You might as well add Never Fully Dressed — who goes up to a size 3X right along with them. I’ve been dreaming of their pieces being worn by me since I found out about them. The prints are so unique to the silhouettes of each dress, top, and cardigan. I feel like whatever I wear from them will be a conversation starter wherever I go. With the seasons changing, they’ve added some beautiful structured blazers, jackets, and denim into the mix that I’ll be looking at even more. If I had it my way, they would be arriving in my mailbox this weekend. But who knows what fall will do for me.
In the previous post, I mentioned how shoes in different styles and colors are becoming the star of the show this season, mainly because of how brightly they stand out. Of course, Steve Madden—the king of not caring if he took a design from somebody else and made it his own—will always have a special place in my closet.
I may not have all the ones I used to (I still hurt that I lost so many shoes when my room flooded), but with new shoes hitting my inbox all the time, Harden, Buffy, Pager (in three colors), and Mila will be mine.
There’s so much more on my list: silk skirts, a new large Telfar purse, plenty of accessories, layering peices, new hairstyles, and hobbies. They may not all come from the places I listed, but whatever I add to my wardrobe will be just for me. The more unique, the better. There’s no rush, though. What’s meant for me will always find its way onto my doorstep. And I hope that whatever is on your list will be waiting for you too!
