Put Me in Coach: My Love for Coach Factory

I am my mother’s child. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to one brand of purses. Coach is THE brand that reigns in our closets. My mother has been raving over these bags all my life. If you see her anywhere, I can tell you that there will be some sort of Coach purse on her arm or not too far away from her. When we go out of town and go shopping, my mother must find a coach outlet. When I was younger, I didn’t understand the joy that she felt when she would get a new purse, but now I’m there.

I believe that when I was younger, I never got into loving Coach because of the monogram all over the bag. If I’m going to carry a designer bag, I don’t want to be flashy with it. I typically go for what I like to call “subtle flex purses.” You’ll be able to look at it and be like “oh okay sis, that’s a cute _______ purse,” and move on. One reason I love Coach’s SFPs is that when people ask what purse it is, they are completely shocked by my answer. I will admit the bags themselves never pulled me in, but now I can’t wait to see their new releases because they are my favorite styles!

As I got older, I started carrying some of her coach bags and then slowly, but surely, I started getting my own. Yes, the monograms were on it, but I wasn’t going to tell my mama I didn’t want them. At the time I was 14-15 carrying a Coach bag, would you complain?

EXACTLY I made it work at the time. Now that I’m 26 and thriving, I have a genuine love for Coach’s purses. It may not be as deep as my mama’s (it probably never will), but I know that as I continue to make moves in the fashion industry more than likely, I’ll have a Coach purse on my arm.

Luxury brands like Coach are an investment. You have to care for them like they are fine jewelry. TAKE CARE OF ALL LUXURY PURSES. I learned how serious it is when I worked with luxury bags among Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and many others on a day-to-day basis. Get the cleaners. Take the bag to get fixed. Do whatever you need to do to keep each bag in a great condition because you may never know when you could upgrade or sell it.

Yall probably thinking, are all of her bags Coach? And I am here to let you know that THEY AREN’T! Some are totes and some are small. Understand that I’m still in the basement stacking, but even though our style isn’t quite the same, I’ll grab a purse off Rev’s rack if need be. Will my collection get to her’s? Lord willing. For right now I’ll continue to bask in my budget-friendly ways lol.
