One & Dunn Boutique

This year I told myself that I was going to step out more when it came to networking. More people deserve to know what SOACG is all about; blogging and styling alike. So I attended a networking event in the area that had plenty of vendors there showcasing their talents and businesses! As always I am never disappointed with the outcome. I’ve reconnected with some vendors that I lost contact with and I also made some new connections. One of the connections I made was with One and Dunn Boutique.

They were the first table I saw when I walked in so I immediately went to their table. Let me tell you I didn’t want to spend all my money at their table, but they definitely made it kinda easy. The pieces they have ranged in different sizes so off the jump I asked if they carried anything plus size. They didn’t have much on hand, but they did have this one top. If you’ve been a reader for some time you know I have a thing for off the shoulder anything, so this was an easy purchase.

I told Morgan (Ms. Dunn herself) to hold the top for me because it was now mine. I walked around the room and got a few things, but of course, before I left I came back for my shirt.

The tie-up-detail on the sleeves is what truly got me. It allows whoever is wearing it to adjust how tight or loose they want the top to be off your shoulders. Tie it to the top or let it hang as loose as you want. At the end of the day its all about you!

It may not be warm enough to wear this top, but might as well get ready, right?

Recreation: Remember a few years ago when I attended the District of Curves fashion show?

That look has stood out over the years and I’ve actually worn that exact look multiple times afterward. Now that I have this top I can add to it with the tie-up detail on sleeves, all while still giving off-the-shoulder tease.

Now if you don’t want to go the semi dressed to impress, claassaay look, than switch the pants for your favorite pair of jeans along with a nice sandal strappy heel or chunky heels.

This look can be transformed into a completely different look by adding a simple jacket or duster of your choosing and a different pair of shoes. But if you want to keep it simple this is perfect for you.

Sometimes less is more. Whenever I wear this I know for a fact that I not only look good, but most importantly I feel good too.
