What do you do when you have loved and supported a brand for years? SHOP, exactly! That’s all I’ve been doing regarding anything that Hanifa and Zelie For She have put out. Yall should know about my love for Zelie and Hanifa by now. I have talked about them multiple times, and today is no different. I just got off the floor from BOTH of their most recent drops.
What I love ad respect the most about both of these brands, they are size inclusive. They have given women everywhere a chance to see themselves in luxury. Whenever someone puts on their pieces, each person should feel and be unapologetic about their bodies and be their authentic selves while living without limits.
Hanifa released FW22 with a virtual fashion show a few weeks ago. Like every drop, she did not miss! Did I shop? DUH! Am I done? NOPE! I already have the Mali Sweats and Amelia (in black and white which isn’t available yet but Sayda the top in the picture is), and Amira are next on my list.
The looks I have planned for these pieces will be done. There’s no way around it. When I look at each one, I can see myself in them. What makes this even better is when they have models like Halle in their pieces. Having representation makes it easier for me to spend my money too because I don’t have to envision curves when they’re already there. The only reason I’m still going shopping is that I know there is another drop coming soon. I feel it in my bones, lol Everything that is up now is not everything EYE saw that night, so I am mentally and financially preparing myself for it. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and check yourself. Some of the pieces say ‘coming soon,’ so wait, there’s more!!!!
Then Elann came for me in my email a few days later with the Fall In Love, the Leisure N Style, and the Checkmate collections. Fall In Love gives you some of the most beautiful dresses. They each come in different colors, and gloves that match. They are the perfect dresses to fall in love with (see what I did there, haha) Leisure n style is just that. Lay around the house kind of vibe, but if you ever had to leave the house, you wouldn’t need to change clothes. The Staycation dresses were made for meeee, especially with that split. UGH, I LOVE IT! Checkmate made flannel look so good. I’m going to an event tomorrow that would be PERFECT to wear anything from this collection. The mini skirt is is also giving me so many ideas.
If you can’t tell by now, I will buy something from one of the collections, if not all of them. I know she wants what’s best for me, and with Christmas around the corner, it will be great this year.
