Last week I made a poll on IG and asked my followers what store they would want to see me do a haul for first. Would it be Rainbow or Old Navy? Of course, Rainbow won by a landslide. So yesterday I, dropped the video on our IG and, everybody loved the pieces. WATCH IT HERE! Next week I’ll be doing a haul on the Old Navy pieces I got. Today I’m showing off how I styled each piece from everybody’s favorite, Rainbow!
First, let’s get into how versatile these dresses are. With them being tube dresses, I would usually wear them as a dress, as intended. I’d also style it as a top as I did below, and at some point, I’ll maybe wear it as a skirt (the shorts are from rainbow too)!
You’ll get more out of your clothes when you think outside of the box and don’t play by the rules. I fell for this dress because it is giving off 90’s vibes. If you don’t see it, rub your eyes and check again. It’s vibrant and, with this pattern, I’ll truly be living in a 90’s world.
Floral print can get old but, this one is far from it. Now I’m not in the heels ministry at all, but I felt like it was necessary with this dress.
It’s giving date night or, I’m ready to be seen. No matter how you style it, you’ll break necks with each step you take. Catch me in my sandals though lol.
See when it comes to this bad boy right here I would love to have a pair of white sandal heels that tie up your leg. It would truly set everything off or a pair of heels that were the color of any of the flowers of the dress.
For now, I’ll work with what I have, but it is time for a few upgrades in the shoe department. Being able to adjust the straps I was able to add a little more to the dress by wearing one strap across my chest. In the video, I crisscrossed them. Style the dress how you see fit!
You can never go wrong with a matching set even if the top and shorts were never a set in the first place. Say what? Yeaaah the shorts that came with the top were cut way too small so I got these shorts as a backup. They may not be the same exact heather gray, but it’s close enough for me.
With a pair of white sneakers and a cute bag, you’ll be ready to run a few errands and then come back home to relax. Switch the top out for another or vise versa to get the look that you want.
Moral of this haul: GO TO RAINBOW AND RACK UP!!! It will do your body good. Happy shopping š
