It’s Up And It’s Stuck

Where do I begin? I have no words, but I’m going to do my best to put how I feel all out on the table. I am overjoyed, overwhelmed, honored, blessed, without a doubt nowhere near done, amazed, and honestly excited.

Each year since 2015, God has laid something on my heart that I have to do for SOACG. I’m glad to say that I listened and got it done even when I felt like I wasn’t in the place to do so. I always knew I wanted to be in the fashion industry. I was that 3rd grader talking about owning a clothing line while everybody else wanted to be doctors and astronauts. It seemed like a wild thing to want at such a young age but I’m proud that Lil Moody never gave up.

I didn’t know what I was doing in my apartment on June 16th, 2015, but I knew that after I graduated I had to do something to get my name out there. Trying to figure out a name was so hard but once I heard God repeatedly say Styles of a Curvy Girl, I couldn’t deny that it had a ring to it. I knew that at the moment greatness was going to radiate off this brand. Starting this blog was just the start to where we are today. We have readers and customers from all over. We’ve reached people in places I never thought we could, but when you have God as your foundation and backbone the possibilities are endless.

Styles of a Curvy Girl may be small now, but trust and believe that IT’S UP AND IT’S STUCK!

I want to thank my parents for always believing in me. I didn’t tell them about SOACG until after 2 months of blogging. They were shocked, but the minute that they saw that this wasn’t a game for me they have been behind me and even throwing me ideas on those hard days. I am beyond grateful to have them as MY support system. I also want to thank every reader and customer that has visited the blog and boutique. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here since day one or 367. All that matters is that you are here to celebrate with us RIGHT NOW. Thank you for spreading the word about every blog post, leaving comments, every sale, new arrival, and pop-up shop. I’m so blessed to know that people that know me personally or not want to see us grow. I promise to bring quality blog posts every (well almost every lol let me be honest life be lifing) Friday and quality pieces to the boutique with each launch.
