Hiiiiii! How you doing? It’s another Friday in the house, but today’s post is all about getting out of the house. With Valentine’s Day around the corner I plan on treating myself the best way possible.
Even though we are still in the middle of the panny, I’m going to start my Treat Yoself Journey up again. Ten months in the house has been something I never thought I’d experience, but here we are lol I’m ready to get back to doing more for me by any means necessary.
I’m thinking about starting the day by making breakfast for everybody then going about my me day. I want to try a new restaurant somewhere close to home but far enough to feel like I’m not home, you know? Think of this outing as my staycation without really staying anywhere (even though I would love to book a room for a few days). I’ll probably do a little people watching while I’m out. I don’t know about you but its one of my favorite things to do. A spa day would be ideal, but I’ll come back to that around my birthday! I haven’t experienced a spa day yet and its long overdue. For now, I’m doing whatever makes me happy and feel loved on Valentine’s Day. I deserve, and so do you.
If staying in the house all day, having a galentine’s day zoom happy hour, spending time with your boo, or making memories with your kiddos is how you want to spend Valentine’s Day, then so be it. This day isn’t just for spouses, it’s about spreading love to any and everybody, especially yourself. Dance around the house and sing as loud as you want. Have a mini photoshoot just because you can. Join in on the Silhouette Challenge. Do a little online shopping. Buy some new lingerie for yourself. Treat yourself like you’d want somebody else to love you. Use this time to learn and express your own love languages to yourself. At the end of the day, I want you to feel so good that you won’t let anything or anyone mess up the following week for you. Cloud 9 status!
Bask in yourself and don’t let this be the only time you do!
It’s 25/8 job with no days off. Enjoy you and I’ll see you in the next one.
Xoxo, Jonice 💕
