Are Tiny Bags For You?

I’m sure you have seen celebrities purses getting smaller and smaller as weeks go on. This honestly got me thinking, would I ever carry something that small? Where would I put my keys, phone, wallet, and whatever else I have in my purse? I usually don’t wear small bags, but I do own a few that are smaller than my usual. I wear small purses when I’m out and about, and I don’t have much to bring with me like my essentials. The other day I found a small red bag I got from an estate sale last year.

It’s perfect for the holiday parties and outings that are around the corner, so it got me thinking about what will I wear with it and what will I put in it.

Out of all the looks featuring small purses, these happen to be my favorites:

Dior Oblique Saddle Bag is the first tiny bag I saw making a considerable comeback, along with Chanel Mini Flap Bag.

I’ve fallen hard over the Chanel Boy Brick Clutch. One day I’ll own one, but for right now, I’ll admire Rihanna’s lol.

My all-time favorite has to be the Valentino “toy bag” Lizzo carried on the red carpet at the AMA Awards.

The memes that came from her look still have me weak!

For the next couple of days, I will be styling looks centered around this tiny purse. This is going to be a challenge for me because the bag is so small, but yall know I’ll make it work. I’ll have to take what’s necessary and leave the rest behind. Will my phone even fit? We’ll find out together. Each day there will be a new look posted on IG (@SOACurvyGirl) featuring it!

What’s your go-to style of purse to carry? Would you give small – tiny purses a try? I think you should join me! Keep your eye on our IG to see the upcoming looks!

enjoy your weekend + be safe!

See you in the next one

Xoxo, Jonice
