Hey. I know it’s been a whole MONTH since I last made a post. I’m so sorry about that, I really am. I promise to never dip like that ever again. *Girl Scout Honor* LOL
If you follow me on IG you have been able to see that I’m not just sitting on the couch binging a new show on Netflix, I’ve been living. Like really making moves. Usually, my summer moves start in April but really take off in May. This year is no different. Let me give you a little peek into what I got into.
To start the month off right, I traveled to NOLA once again. While I was there I made a major move that I still can’t believe. I purchased my ticket to Curvy Con!!! And guess who will be there with me? REV, aka MY MAMA!!!!!!
It is the place to be for curvy girls, like myself, during fashion week. I’ve wanted to get my hands on tickets since day 1. Instead, I would live vicariously through everyone else who was there whenever they posted a picture or video. This year yall will not miss out on anything going on because I will be in the building! I’m going to get pictures with some of the greatest and then network till I drop to the floor. This is just another stepping stone that is going to get our name out there. I am beyond ready.
Then days later tickets for our 4th blogiversary pool party went on sale. Since 2015, I have become more than proud of the growth we have had. The support for our readers have been more than appreciated, so this year it’s only right that we get the chance to celebrate.
My favorite brands Beaded By Na, Bijoux’s Basket, and Shadez by Mishon will be in attendance selling their products, a popping DJ, incredible food, and open bar. When I say this is going to be the move to start the summer off right, you would want to listen to me.

When I returned home from an amazing trip I had more moves to make. I got the chance to celebrate two of my friends who graduated from undergrad and grad school. I remember my graduation like it was yesterday, so when I get to celebrate somebody’s accomplishments, I make sure I’m there.
Now that I actually have time to catch my breath, just know that we are back in business. With June 1st being tomorrow (crazy, right), the next 6 months will be nothing but me grinding (who am I kidding. of course there will be a little enjoyment here and there)! More content for sure with plenty of looks on the side. If there are any topics you are interested in me covering or looks to recreate, let me know. I’m all ears.
With our birthday coming up I can only imagine how the rest of the summer is going to pan out. If it continues like this, I know for a fact that I am going to enjoy myself.
Understand that we all have different paths that have shown us where we’ve been for the past 5 months. The question is where is your path going to take you next?
