Festival SZN

I don’t know about you, but I am ready to attend the festivals that will be happening during the summer time. Starting this weekend, two major festivals will be going on, Broccoli City Fest in MD & Something In The Water in VA Beach.

Since 2016, I have had the pleasure to attend Broccoli City Fest with a few friends. Every year the fest gets bigger and bigger, which means a whole lot of different styles in one place. Yes, we may go to festivals to have a great time and listen to some of our favs that are headling the show. But I know for a fact that each festival is like walking on a runway…in a way. I’ve said this before in a previous post, if you do attend a show there will be plenty of photographers ready to snap it up with whoever they want. So it’s only right that you stay ready. If you have no idea what to wear this weekend or in the future to other festivals I am here to help! I have a few looks that will be very comfortable for your all-day adventure, but it will also be cute af.

1. Fringe Top
When you look at pics from Coachella you probably will see plenty of seethrough tops and fringe. I personally think that many people who choose to wear any fringe top, they want to be cool as possible (literally lol). This is because 99.9% of the time these festivals will be held outside. You want to have as much fun, but not have to worry out being too hot. Wearing a top similar to this with some shorts are ideal, but if you don’t want to deal with chub rub either than jeans or some pants will be the next best thing.

2. Black Jumpsuit
I’ve actually worn this jumpsuit to BC Fest one year and was comfortable af all day. You can style a similar jumpsuit with sneakers or sandals as I did. To add a little more umph to the look you can wear a jean jacket to keep it casual or take a cardigan and tie it up like so.

3. Jean Skirt
This item has made a huge return into many closets in the past few months. I was one of the people who didn’t want to go back down memory lane by wearing a jean mini skirt because I felt like it wouldn’t look good. But I was proven wrong when I purchased one recently. (Let’s just say haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it.) You can style a skirt similar to this with anything; graphic t-shirts, crop top, or even a bodysuit. The choice is yours. With this look, I took a long tunic (yall have seen this bad boy before) only buttoned it with one button and then tied a knot like the previous look. Real simple, but still hella cute!

At the end of the day, you want to have a great time, and look your best. With these looks, I believe you’ll conquer the day.

Here are a few more looks that get the honorable mentions

Whatever you’re doing this weekend have fun and be safe. If you’re going to any of the festivals enjoy your self, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t forget a portable charger.

See you in the next one
