Heyyy you! Happy New Year!

Its the first Friday of 2019, how is everything?

For me, it’s going as well as the new year can go. I brought the new year in with my friends and family, and not at church (I’m surprised myself).

I really do feel good about this year. 2018 was my most consistent year with SOACG which led me to be in a magazine and even speaking at a book festival.

This year I plan on doing that and so much more. Its all about growth and consistency when it comes to SOACG from this point on! There is no need to stay in my lane any longer. Stepping out is KEY when it comes to growth and its the only way I’m going is UP!

How do you feel about this year? If you have any resolutions how do you plan on sticking to them? I asked God to put me onto the opportunities that are going to have me at the right place at the right time. And to do my part that means networking more which means more events. Even if I ever feel like I don’t belong I’m going to push myself to anyway. More people deserve to know about us. Who knows my next client could be at one of the events or even my next collaboration. Whatever the case may be, I’m ready to meet the people who will help us grow. I just have to get out there and let us be known.

The first event of the year is tomorrow which happens to be a vision board party. What a perfect way to start the year, right? I honestly can’t wait! Like I said in a previous post, I promise to finish this year’s board.

How are you spending your first weekend? Whatever you do make sure that you hold yourself accountable for those resolutions for the year. You do that I promise you’ll thank yourself later in a few months. Don’t skip a day, go to the gym. If you do, simply work out at home. Save your money, you know you have food at the house. If you’re anything like me, don’t let your taste buds become bougie the minute you get paid lol. I may be laughing but it happens.

Stick it out and see it through!
