Chillllllle where do I begin? The month of May is one of celebration because of graduations happening left and right. I haven’t been posting lately because I’ve been crossing state lines to see the ones I love walk across those stages.
The first graduation on my list was my littles’ graduation. That meant going back home, seeing a majority of my sisters who graduated before me and afterward. When I say I was excited, I meant it.

I haven’t seen my babies Frick and Frack since they came home for a break. To see them make it to this point, I was a proud big sister. They may not be blood, but Bennett brought us together and made us sisters. Our bond is something else. YEAH!!!I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
Look at my big sisters though… All educated black women, making big moves in their our own lanes!! The drip, the finesse. Uggghhh yes! I wish I could have gotten pictures with everybody that was there that weekend. My phone probably would be full…forcing me to delete pictures lol.
two weeks after coming from Bennett I would be heading out of town to see my friend Malaysia graduate! The night before I left I went to see two R&B baes right now, BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James.
Talented. omg, the notes. the runs. I still have chills.
Road trip time! Last Thursday Tee, Britt, and I made our way to New Jersey. There was barely any serious traffic which made the drive quicker than I expected. Let me say this though…there are so many tolls lol!! It’s like every 20 mins were were paying a toll or getting a ticket so we could pay a toll! But it was all good because the singing that we did in the car made it all worth it.
We all were beyond tired! None of that mattered the moment the ceremony started. Even though we weren’t under the tent to scream for May when her name got called, we lost our minds in that library!
After a food-induced nap, we went out to New York City to have some fun! I was a whole tourist even though I’ve been to NYC. I still had a ball.
Blurry and all.
This is probably the most touristy thing we could have done that night.
These the kind of pictures you print out and have framed. Hang them around the house LOL! I love these pictures.
Now that I’ve finally had time to relax its time to plan out June and July’s adventures. August is already in lock, but let me not get ahead of myself. I still have this weekend to plan out. I need to be at a cookout or in somebody’s pool. It’s about that time.
Who knows a weekend trip to New York might happen soon.
Whatever you plan on doing have a great time!
Also congradulations to the Class of 2018! Celebrate that degree, it may be your first one or 5th! It’s all yours! Congrads Grad!
See you in the next one.
Xoxo, Jonice 💕
