Brown Thang

…..you make my heart sang!! Happy Friday everybody πŸ•ΊπŸΎπŸ€— ain’t nothing like not having an alarm set because you don’t have to work early today. Relaxing in the bed or running errands beforehand, this is how I’ll probably start off my day.

What’s ya plans this weekend? Don’t know what to wear? Lemme help you with that real quick.

Wearing different shades of one color really can work, it’s just all about how you wear them. This dress has been worn on many occasions & this definitely won’t be the last. I’ve worn this dress with jackets and without one. Surprisingly I had this dress on all day, no jacket or nothing because it was extremely nice that day, but the moment the weather decided to switch up on me during the day, I grabbed the cardigan.

The shades point out each other but blend and work so well. I love the fact that this also brings attention to my skin! That melanin ain’t nothing to play with, okay! It’s something about bright colors and neutrals that make my skin look even more POPPING πŸ’πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

I’ve also seen a few people throughout the week wear these exact shades of browns together. I wanted to ask if I could take a picture, but I was at work and there was no time for “playing around.” Next time I’m pulling out my phone because seeing is for believing.

I’m telling you if you play around in your closet you will be surprised what you find. It might be a dress that you completely forgot about or those pants that you can finally fit. If you mix and match those pieces you wouldn’t generally wouldn’t wear together you’ll come out with more looks than you ever imagined. In my case, throwing the cardigan on to keep my warm worked out both ways; stylish and comfy. I call that a win win situation.
