White After Labor Day?

Everybody has heard of the unwritten rule “don’t wear white after Labor Day.” I know when I was younger I didn’t ask why but now I’m asking why. Regardless of the reason why we shouldn’t wear white, I’ll be stepping out the box and doing just that.
