Gloomy Day

Helloo loves! Ever since we arrived to Pittsburgh I have been on the move. Today my plan is to stay in the bed all day long, due to the fact that its raining and really grey outside. For now we’ll just do a recap of yesterday’s adventure.

Yesterday was the day where I really got to see Pittsburgh. I caught a ride in the hotel shuttle to the Strip District which is a mile long inside of industrial and warehouse spaces that house many vendors, fresh food markets, and restaurants. I started walking from 17th street to 21st street and found this restaurant called Bella Notte. It was a small Italian restaurant that served pizza, pasta, and so much more. I really wanted some pizza, but with being lactose intolerant I really didn’t want to suffer (I didn’t have any of my pills on me). So  instead I took my waiters advice and got the chicken caesar wrap. It was delicious with the side of chips and the strawberry daiquiri. I then thought that walking back to the hotel was the best idea, but it wasn’t lol. I’ll walk anywhere if need be but the jeans that I wore were not the right pants to do any type of walking in. I managed to walk from the Strip through the Cultural District to the hotel, which is right up the street from the hotel.

I feel like if you ever want to see more of a city you have never been to, walking is a good way to do so. Now I wouldn’t suggest walking the whole time you are in town, but if thats what you want to do or love to do more power to you lol. I can say that even though the mile walk was a little hard for my out of shape body, I did enjoy it. I wouldn’t have seen that part of Pittsburgh if I didn’t walk. The picture are just a few snaps I saved from my snapchat story. If you want to keep up with me and the rest of my trip here in Pittsburgh you should follow me on snapchat (@jomopa).

Until next time ✌🏾

This photo was taken while we were at dinner at an all you can eat buffet. I couldn’t just let this view go. I had to get a picture because I was just too beautiful! I can say that Pittsburgh has some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. I’m a sucker for a beautiful view lol.
