Mixed Prints

I love seeing other bloggers finessing in everyway when they mix prints. They make it look so easy. I can honestly say I always can’t find comfort in mixing prints. They say everything ain’t for everybody & that’s exactly how I felt about mixing prints. This summer I’m going to step out the box and give mixing prints another chance.

Today I did a simple mix with stripes and another print I’ve had in my closet for quite some time.

This cardigan is perfect because the top is sleeveless. With the weather still not knowing what it wants, it’s the perfect mix to have wit the stripes. What makes it work is the color in the top and in the cardigan. The blue brings it together but the prints are what set it apart.

As time goes on I’ll mix different colors with different prints, but for right now I’ll be taking baby steps. I can’t wait to see what I can mix and match with what I have in my closet and what I have coming in the mail. This is exciting!!
