Did you really think that I was going to walk my cute self into 2026 without y’all hearing from me first? Ahhhhh, if you did, sorry, I’m not sorry. Over the last month, I have been working! The final sample of the dress is here. The tags are branded with SOACG!

Would you believe me if I said I was still crying? Well, believe it because I’m holding back tears just thinking about it. To see Styles of a Curvy Girl really solidified everything for me. I’m supposed to be here. All the hard work is paying off, and the fun can really begin. I’m on the hunt for a studio where I can take pictures for the site, as my vision is about to become a reality. I won’t be the only one in this new dress. This rebrand is so tea, and I honestly cannot wait to show you. But for now, let’s get into some of my favorite looks from this year.

Most of the looks are in the mirror, but I’m making sure that the pictures I do take next year will give you a taste of who I am when I’m not the one taking the pictures or videos. Making time is key, so if that means getting up earlier so I’m not rushing, so be it. And if I am in the mirror, I will also make sure it is not only at work.

I feel like this year I was able to step back and finally figure out what I like and what I don’t like. For next year, I will take my 30’s and Beyond board on Pinterest and really jump into who Jonice is when the clothes speak for me. Even though I love a good hoodie and have plenty to show off, it won’t be my only ‘I don’t feel like getting dressed, so here I am’ look.

I am going to find pieces that say that, but not in hoodie form. The dresses will stay, but the silhouettes will be different. Brighter colors will take over my wardrobe. Grays and neutrals will stay, but they will not be the whole story.

Each look also taught me something, even if I already knew it. I’ve been that girl and will only get better with time. Thank you for letting my style diary guide you to try something new, revisit a look, or simply discover YOU in some of your favorite pieces. I pray 2026 give us more, but also continue to teach us who we are.
See you in the next one.
Xoxo, Jonice 💋
