I never considered myself a writer until two years into Styles of a Curvy Girl. That first year, I was dedicated to being present and showing off my outfits. By year two, I realized my words carried weight. They didn’t just stick with me—I started hearing from people who said my blog made them feel good about stepping outside their comfort zone and loving who they currently are. That message surprised me, but it stayed with me and grew as I kept writing.

Now, ten years later, I’m so proud of myself for reconnecting with the writer who’s been here since high school. This space has allowed me to grow in so many ways, and I’m forever grateful. I’m honored to show up as myself—so that somebody’s daughter might see herself when she feels like hiding.

May you continue to grow with us as we step into new, uncharted territory this year. I fully trust and believe that what God is doing in me will shine even brighter than before.

Thank you for being you—and for letting me be me through SOACG.
Here’s to 10 more and beyond!

XOXO, Jonice 💋
