Every woman has her moment when she enters the world of getting her nails done at a very young age. Whether it was at home or at the salon with your mom, sister, or favorite auntie, girlhood started there. As I got older, I figured out what designs I liked—and what I didn’t. My last salon set was my worst. It was a light blue (they didn’t have the color I wanted, and then added silver glitter to one nail. I’m not exaggerating at all, lol. Doesn’t that just sound bad? The worst part about it, it was my birthday set. I vowed never to let myself feel that way about something I paid for ever again.
A few weeks later, I took them off and knew I had to find someone who understood my vision—someone who could execute the designs I had in mind and saved on Pinterest. Then, somehow, some way, my friend—whom I’ve known since middle school—mentioned she was doing nails. I checked out her work and immediately booked.
Four years later, NOBODY has touched my hands. And below, you’ll see exactly why.

You see what I mean? PERFECT! My nails have always been the icing on the cake when it comes to my style. They’re another way for me to express myself, both in and out of work. What I love about getting my nails done, they can also be the statement piece to any look. There have been times when I’m running errands or just out in a very casual fit, my nails still grabbed somebody’s attention. Those days they would be THE look. On those late nights at work, it’s me and my nails typing away, or I’m outside doing what I do best—being the life of the partyyyy. If I don’t start, my nails spark conversations and even lead me to share her booking info.
Sometimes, I keep it simple (never basic) and let the color and shape speak for themselves. Other times, I let her show off her undeniable talent. I’m in awe every time she brings my vision to life without hesitation.

I don’t need to say much—you see it! If you need some inspo, go ahead and save a few of my sets. I can’t wait to see what we come up with for spring and summer. Don’t settle when it comes to your nails. Let me speak before you say anything!
