Falling for Myself

Last week was nothing short of incredible for SOACG as we took to the streets for Falling for Myself pop-up shop with Yellow Brick Rhodes Thrift & Plush DMV that had me radiating with excitement, gratitude, and so much love. If you missed it, don’t worry—this recap is for you, and trust me, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for the next time we pull up and hop out.

First of all, a huge shoutout to all the new SOACGBaes who pulled up and found their perfect pieces! Watching you try on the pieces, take that step of confidence, and leave with a new favorite outfit was beyond rewarding. There’s something truly special about seeing someone light up in SOACG, and I’m so grateful to have added a little magic to your wardrobe. Whether it was a statement hoodie or a bold, curve-flattering piece, you showed up and showed out!

But beyond the fashion, what really made this pop-up unforgettable were the connections made. It’s one thing to see people online and interact with them through posts and comments, but to be face-to-face with the SOACG community, to hear your stories, and to have those meaningful conversations was everything. It felt like one big celebration of confidence, self-expression, and unapologetic love for our bodies. I’m so proud to have created a space where women can feel celebrated and connected.

I also want to take a moment to thank those who supported SOACG by spreading the word and showing love. Whether you were helping another Baes find their perfect fit or just dropping by to say hey with sammiches and coffee, you are the reason this community keeps growing and thriving. You have no idea how much your encouragement means to me.

This pop-up was not the first or the last, and I’m already looking ahead to more opportunities to bring SOACG to even more people. The support from the SOACG babes—new and OG alike—has been a reminder that there’s a powerful community out here that needs more of what we’re offering: bold, beautiful, and unapologetic fashion. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next!
