Putting That Sh*t On: Life, Concerts, and Career Wins

Time flies when you’re having fun, right? I want to think that I’ve been doing that and then some since the last time I wrote something. It’s been about a month and I have so much to say. So, where do I start?
Being who I am, you already know I’ve been to multiple concerts. I saw Kayranada, Anderson.Paak, and Free Nationals the same week. Did I get pictures of what I wore? Barely. I was running a little behind, so I didn’t get the chance to show off, but understand that I putthatshiton, lol. I’ll at least post a few videos from that night so you all can see how good that week was to me. Later that week I went out with one of my homegirls for brunch and a museum date. Enjoying art with a full stomach and a little tipsy will always be a good time in my book.

Another thing that is good in my book is going to football games. I have always been a football girlie, especially when it comes to my team, Washington Redskins/Commanders. I’m the one screaming in the stands talking my best sh*t no matter if we’re winning or losing, but it gets real good when we’re winning.

Recently, I treated my father to a game, went to another game with another homegirl, and then I went with my family. Each time I went, we had the best seats which only made everything 10 times better.
During all this fun I was making a huge transition too. Time was winding down for me and my job. I was tired and was ready for a change. I have been applying left and right and finally a job wanted to bring me in for an interview. The interview process was quick and straight to the point. I wasn’t going to stress about if they wanted me or not. I made it my mission to finish off the month of October with a bang. I must say I didn’t disappoint myself during Halloween weekend. A group of my friends and I went on a bar crawl, but this wasn’t like any other bar crawl that we participated in. We had a theme and stuck to it. We were different characters from Shrek. Then on Halloween, I went to a party and was Morticia Addams.

This was another successful year enjoying one of my favorite holidays. What made it even better, I got the offer letter to start in November. I cried tears of joy because I no longer had to deal with everything that drained me at my former job.
Since I’ve been here for about three weeks now, I can say that I am enjoying myself. I haven’t complained at all. It is a real 180 from where I was before. It also gives me a chance to get back into my style.

I adore the comfort that I have been able to embrace the last three years but it was time for a change and it came right on time. I have been keeping the fits cute and casual, but once I start Christmas shopping for myself, it’s about to get extra cute and cozy at the front desk.
Well, let me get back to helping around the house before my family starts to arrive. I can’t wait to see everybody’s living room outfits lol. Don’t forget to putthatshiton this weekend and get all the deals during Black Friday! Don’t worry SOACG will be participating too!

Enjoy your friends and family and I’ll see you in the next one
