Layering as a Plus Size Baddie

Embracing my title as the “Outside Queen” among my friends, I’ve become the go-to source for the hottest concert details. Now that fall has gracefully descended (or rather, slapped me in the face), staying warm and cozy while maintaining my style has become my top priority. No more baring it all like I did during summer; it’s time to flourish outdoors without catching a cold. How, you ask? The secret lies in mastering the art of layering, without resembling the Michelin Man. Let me guide you through a chic and warm wardrobe for the season.

Begin with thermals or a thin long-sleeved shirt as your base. Personally, I’ve fallen in love with the long-sleeve scoop neck tops from Target – versatile, snug, and perfect for layering without sacrificing style. Grab those cute turtleneck tops/ sweaters, and explore layering with outerwear. Cardigans are my next favorite thing to wear during the fall and winter. They can be both a piece you layer with or the main outerwear when its not too cold. Trench coats, my personal winter favorite, have stolen the spotlight. Puffer coats, too, have taken a fashionable turn. Coats are no longer just an accessory; they are the statement piece that sets the tone for your entire look. Here are a few places I plan to shop at for my next coats:

My favorite cardigan right now is, Camille – available now on our boutique

For ultimate comfort without compromising style, matching sets are a game-changer. They’ve become a staple in my fall wardrobe, especially for those days when I need a quick and stylish outfit. Need to add a few into your closet? Don’t worry, I got some to start you off right.

As the temperature drops, beanies, scarves, and gloves become your cozy companions – have fun with patterns and vibrant colors that demand attention. These pieces will also add a little pop to the look instead of going for neutrals.

This fall and winter, make a statement with your layers. Whether you’re hitting up concerts, volunteering, or simply stepping out with freinds, let your style shine through.

Stay layered, stay cozy, and I’ll catch you in the next one!

Xoxo, Jonice 💋
