Shine Bright!

Every once in a while, we, as humans, need a mental break and a pick me up. I’m not going to lie; for the past couple of days, I’ve been feeling somewhat “out of it” when it came to getting anything done for SOACG and the event for next weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I am more than excited for the turn up, but my mind has been all over the place about my next steps to make us more exceptional. I know that I have time to think about it, I’m just ready to make something shake.

That’s when the word ‘self-sabotage’ kept popping up whenever I got on the internet. Of course, I choose to ignore it, but then yesterday morning, I got my daily text from Shine.

After that, I knew I had to figure out if this self-sabotage was happening to me.

I read the article, and it hit me like a tone of bricks. It felt like they knew what exactly was going through my mind. Now, I’m going to be so real with yall, okay. Whenever I’m going through something, I tend to keep it to myself. I never want to feel like I’m bothering somebody with my issues. If I do talk it out, it’s either with Scotty, my mama, or God lol.

But this article helped me come back to what I need to do and start putting in the work. I’m here to share the greatness that is SHINE.
