Denim on Print

Happy Wednesday 💕 Today there is no Polyvore set. I feel like I’ve been missing in action…better yet missing at work lol. Sorry for my delay, let’s not waste any more time and get back to our regularly scheduled program!!!

As much as I love the summer, I cannot thrive in humidity! My homebody game is skrong af when it’s doing too much outside. I feel like in the past two weeks I have sweated enough for me and two other people. I probably have switched my looks so many times just so I wouldn’t feel sticky. Heat, clothes, and feeling sticky is not the wave. Never has been and never will be in my book.

I took it upon myself to be comfortable and cute, as always. Jeans were out of the question, but a denim top was not. Of course a maxi skirt would be the go to bottom, right? NOPE! I don’t know about you, but my thighs rub together way too much and I was not about to put myself in any chafing situation.

Ultimately, pants were my next option. Now these pants are a gem! They are lightweight, has small floral detail, and purchased at a thirft store. I don’t remember exactly how much they were, but they definitely weren’t more than $10.

Oh and the shoes, a steal! I’ve been on a hunt for some new shoes and I must say these are amazing! They are simple, comfortable, and can go with any look. These Madden Girl slides were on sale for $28 😩🙌🏾 Yall know me, a sale is my favorite thing when it comes shopping. I felt like it was my duty to get them, especially since they were the last pair in my size.

Pairing a denim top with a printed bottom is a classic look & in my case, the coolest. Majority of the time, there is no need to go all out and spend too much on a look. That top you constantly over look, wear it! Not sure if you should mix’n match? 🗣Do it! Sometimes the simplest and right priced pieces can steal the show.

Don’t let the heat stress you out and have you looking at your closet in confusion. Take a deep breath & have some fun!
