Over the weekend I had the honor to attend the 4th Annual District of Curves Full Figured Showcase! Let me tell you, it was definitely the place to be. I called it my little slice of plus size heaven. I truly felt like I was at home. Each designer put on a true show with all of their pieces. I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite because they all were so beautiful!

While I was there of course I did a tiny bit of shopping lol. The DJ kept telling us to support, so I felt like I was doing some good. Mind you I did majority of my shopping before the actual show started 😂. Was I able to get something from each vendor? Of course not, but I got their business cards so that way I could on a later date.

Mickey Armstrong and his team started all of this in 2014! Im glad that they didn’t stop because there is still so much to be shown throughout the DMV. They did an amazing job showing that the DMV does have a plus size fashion industry! Each designer, model, and vendors are different, but putting all of us under one roof shows that we are a community that is forever growing!
